Facebook Ads Budget Calculator
Plan your Meta ad spend per day and month, and see the clicks, leads, cost per result and ROAS it should bring.
Your budget
What you plan to spend on Facebook & Instagram (Meta) ads each month.
Your rates
Defaults are LocaliQ's 2026 Facebook averages for leads campaigns: $1.80 per click, a 2.70% click-through rate and an 8.54% conversion rate. The CPM is what those two imply ($1.80 × 2.70% × 1,000), not a published average: use your own from Ads Manager.

How we calculated this
- Daily budget = monthly budget ÷ 30.4 (the average days in a month).
- Clicks = budget ÷ cost per click; impressions = clicks ÷ click-through rate.
- Conversions = clicks × conversion rate; revenue = conversions × value per conversion.
- If you set a cost per result goal, Meta recommends a daily budget of at least 5× that goal. At $21.08 per result that's $105 a day (about $3,204 a month).

Most ad budgets leak on the landing page: slow load times, weak offers and broken conversion tracking. Leave your email and we'll review your landing page and tracking for free.
How this works
Turns your budget into impressions, clicks, results and ROAS from your cost per click (or CPM and click-through rate) and conversion rate. Defaults are LocaliQ's 2026 averages for Facebook leads campaigns.

FAQ
Work back from results: the leads or sales you want each day × what one costs you. If you use a cost per result goal, Meta recommends a daily budget of at least five times that goal, so a $5 goal needs $25 a day. The calculator shows both the daily budget your plan implies and that five-times figure.
LocaliQ's 2026 Facebook benchmarks put the average cost per click at $0.60 for traffic campaigns and $1.80 for leads campaigns. Leads campaigns average an 8.54% conversion rate and a $27.39 cost per lead, from about $12 in Career & Employment to about $62 for dentists. Costs vary with industry, audience and season.
Start from the results you need, not a round number. Enter a monthly goal and the calculator shows the budget it needs at your cost per result and the daily budget to enter in Ads Manager.
Use whichever your Ads Manager reports most reliably. With cost per click you only need your CPC and conversion rate. With CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions) you also need your click-through rate to turn impressions into clicks.
Good means above your break-even ROAS, which is 1 divided by your profit margin. At a 50% margin you break even at a 2× ROAS; at 25% you need 4×. The calculator shows both numbers side by side so you can see which side of the line you're on.
